I use big data from genomes and ecological databases to investigate the ecology, evolution, and biodiversity of fishes. I’m especially interested in understanding how rates of molecular, phenotypic, and lineage diversification vary in relation to ecological interactions, climate change, and habitat loss/fragmentation. More broadly, I like developing creative solutions to complex problems with data pipelines and Bayesian analysis.
